I noticed a new guy standing on one of the street corners in Jarlaheim. I went up to talk to him and found out his name is Zed and he’s opening a punk/rock themed clothing booth in the city.
He asked if I could help with some marketing work before the shop opens. Totally!
He started off by showing me where the booth was going to be located.
Right across from the Heavy Metal Scissors Salon – perfect spot, if you ask me! That puts everything in one area!
My first task in helping him assemble the booth was to get tools from Builder Donald.
Builder Donald was more than willing to lend me the use of his hammer and crowbar…only, he didn’t have them on hand.
Angus Goldspur had borrowed them.
Builder Donald said I should go ask Angus for them. He should be finished with them by now.
Angus had almost forgotten about them.
He was finished using them and said I could have them.
He gave them to me and I told him why I needed them.
Zed was happy to have the tools. He made one last check to see that we had everything we needed.
Good thing he checked because he realized that he’d lost all the nails he needed.
The nails were scattered around Jarlaheim…so I went on a scavenger hunt for them!
It wasn’t too hard to find all 5.
He pretty much left everything to me. Being the handy woman that I am, I shouldn’t have been surprised.
First I had to pry the boxes open, then I could assemble the booth pieces.
There, all finished!
He then told me about his girlfriend, Daisy, who was printing the tee shirts for the shop.
He asked me to check in with Daisy to see if the tee shirts were finished printing yet.
I found her down by the docks near Stablebucks Cafe. She told me they were almost finished, but that she’d run out of ink!
On top of that, she’d sprained her leg at a rock concert (the closest thing I’ve ever been to is the Fort Pinta disco). She’d ordered more ink but couldn’t go and pick it up.
She thought it was ready for pick up and suggested I take the ferry to talk to James about the shipment.
The ferry was my best bet.
When I got off at Fort Pinta, James was waiting for me.
He told me the ink was in one of the barrels on the dock but he couldn’t remember which one it was in. (typical James) He told me to look through them for it though so I went down and got to work.
There were several barrels to look in. It was in the last one I checked. 😉
He was glad I found the ink and promised to do better next time. All right, James, I’ll hold you to that, little mister!
He urged me to get the ink to Daisy asap. Best idea from him I’ve heard today.
Daisy was super happy to have the ink. She said she’d get started coloring the tees and that they’d be ready tomorrow.
I guess I’ll be back later to pick them up!
(Note: A few words of Zed’s dialogue warranted changing to ensure my blog maintains a family-friendly atmosphere. I didn’t think his original word choice was appropriate for young viewers, even if Star Stable did.)
