A Dangerous Christmas Mission
The Councilman asked me to check in with Carney at the Manor about green Christmas ornaments for the tree.
I asked Carney about them as soon as I got there.
Carney said that they had looked everywhere for them, and finally found them in the barn’s loft. I dismounted and stood right below the loft door. Someone tossed the ornaments down and I caught all 6 of them.
Once I got them on the tree, I checked to see what the Councilman thought of them.
He said they looked great, despite his concerns that they would blend in with the tree.
Then the Councilman informed me that Felicity in Firgrove had a special Christmas present in mind for Andy: a sled with magical runners!
He went on to tell me about Nic Stoneground and how he had discovered a special metal that almost brings to life whatever it is built into. He left instructions with the Councilman as to where he found the metal, and Felicity made the decision to use it on Andy’s sled!
However, Nic only left coordinates, or so they seem to be. The Councilman decided the trip was too risky for any of his villagers to take, as none of them have been able to figure out where on the map the spot is, so he appointed me to be the one because of my good riding skills and detective abilities.
Time to use my awesome navigational skills!
It took me a little while to get there and to find a safe path up the hilly terrain, but with Spirit’s sure-footedness and my keen sense of direction, I finally found myself before a very curious sight…er, site!
A UFO crash site! I was not expecting that! How long had it been sitting up there in the mountains? As questions without answers filled my mind, I gathered up some metal that was laying on the ground and turned around to start my trek back to Firgrove. I had to take a picture of the breathtaking view, though!
Spirit thought it was pretty awesome.
When I got to Firgrove, Felicity was overjoyed that I had found the metal for her. I really hope Andy likes his present, too! He’s such a sweet kid.
I ended the night with some dancing at the Disco.
It really is a sight to see from the outside.
Ornaments, Lights, and Torches
Just as I predicted, the Councilman spoke to me about white ornaments for the tree. I didn’t have the heart to tell him about us trading Will the white for the red ornaments and ran to see if Steve had an alternative.
He suggested silver, which made me happy. Hopefully they will be luxurious enough for the villagers and the Councilman.
Even though the villagers asked for white, the Councilman seemed to think that the silver would be good enough. Thank goodness!
When I got done, the Councilman sent me to 5 different barns to hang Christmas lights.
I went to Steve’s, Valedale, Firgrove, Moorland, and the Manor.
My last task was to set up the Christmas torches around the village. He had me set two at each of the three entrances, and two at each staircase.
Christmas torches to light the way!
When I’d finished in the village, I ran over to the Winery to help the Baroness fill up bottles with their Christmas mulled wine.
